Dr. Jin Tae Yuh (right) obtained his PhD Materials Science and Engineering at Hoseo University, Korea (2011) with dissertation “Stability of Zinc Oxide Transistors”. He will be working on characterization of nematic bent-core systems, focusing on the design of cell structure and applications. Dr. Yuh, nicknamed Daniel, has a number of patents in Korea to be proud of. Alongside Daniel, Dr. Gautam Singh (left) will work on similar project next to electrooptic characterization of de Vries systems. Dr. Singh recently  obtained his doctoral degree in Physics at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India last March 2011. His research background (dissertation title: Structural, Dielectric and Photonic Studies on Certain Types of Liquid Crystals) makes him an excellent choice to undertake his current research projects.
