The laboratory consists of three rooms : a sample preparation room and 2 characterization rooms. The former is where substrates are cleaned, alignment layers are prepared and LC cells are assembled. The latter are where the physical characterizations of the samples takes place using Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Polarizing Microscope, High Resolution X-ray Diffractometry as well as the different Electro-optic characterizations. |
